Elke Pollaris graduated at Ghent University in 2014, whereafter she performed a rotating equine internship at the department of surgery and anaesthesiology of domestic Animals. Afterwards she started a residency in Equine dentistry under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Lieven Vlaminck. In 2019 she became a certified diplomate EVDC for the equine subspecialty. Currently she is working on her PHD research project which handles fissure fractures in equine cheek teeth.
