UC Davis will be hosting a Veterinary Oral Medicine Symposium on June 11–12, 2027, and would love for you to join , whether in person or virtually.

Day 1 is available in-person or via live, interactive Zoom webinar; Day 2 is in-person only.
What to expect:
- · Day 1 (in-person & virtual): Expert-led sessions on the oral microbiome, chronic stomatitis in dogs and cats, TMJ arthritis, the link between systemic and oral health, as well as emerging regenerative therapies including stem cells and extracellular vesicles.
- · Day 2 (in-person only): An immersive clinical-pathologic workshop on oral and maxillofacial histomorphology, with case-based diagnostic correlation.
This program is designed to give practicing veterinarians a direct look at where the science is heading, alongside practical tools you can bring back to your own casework right away.

ADVANCED ORAL AND MAXILLOFACIAL TRAUMA IN DOGS AND CATS - Repair Using Internal Fixation
Main Speaker: Prof. Boaz Arzi, DVM, Dipl. AVDC, Dipl. EVDC, AVDC-ZWD, FF-AVDC-OMFS
The course will take place in Milan, Italy, and is designed to enhance participants’ diagnostic and surgical skills in the management of oral and maxillofacial trauma in dogs and cats. Over two intensive days of hands-on training, attendees will deepen their understanding of the principles and application of internal fixation techniques for mandibular and maxillofacial fractures. Participants will have the opportunity to perform a variety of surgical approaches and repair methods using different fixation systems, gaining practical experience through clinically relevant scenarios. The program will also cover soft tissue reconstruction techniques, including advancement and axial pattern flaps, for the management of extensive maxillofacial soft tissue injuries.
The standard registration fee is €1,750 + VAT; however, EVDC residents will benefit from a special discounted fee of €1,500 + VAT.
