The Faculté de médecine vétérinaire (FMV) of the Université de Montréal is currently seeking qualified candidates for an Assistant or Associate Professor position in Veterinary Dentistry to join the dynamic multidisciplinary team in his Department of Clinical Sciences. The FMV is located in Saint-Hyacinthe, the agricultural capital of Quebec with 57 000 inhabitants.

The professor will work at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vétérinaire (CHUV) in collaboration with several specialists - anesthesiology, surgery, dermatology, medical imaging, internal medicine, neurology, emergency and intensive care - committed to providing the best veterinary care and will be a teaching resource for future veterinarians in the Faculty.

Tenure track faculty member in Dentistry and Oral Surgery

The Department of Clinical Sciences in the College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University invites applications for a tenure-track Dentistry and Oral Surgery faculty position in the Section of Dentistry and Oral Surgery (DOS). This position expands DOS to three specialists to support robust pre-clinical and clinical research programs, provide excellent dentistry and oral surgery services in the Hospital, and maintain a strong teaching and outreach program. The successful candidate will join a current faculty of two Diplomates of the AVDC who are also founding fellows in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (FF-AVDC-OMFS). They are supported by two experienced licensed technicians and three full-time DOS residents in a comprehensive state-of-the-art teaching and referral hospital. The DOS Section is equipped with extensive therapeutic and diagnostic capabilities, including:

A dedicated dentistry suite with three independent working stations • Fixed and portable computed dental radiographic capacity • A dental microscope • Rotary endodontic equipment and a vast collection of dental instrumentation • Direct access to operating rooms equipped with a piezoelectric oral surgery unit and a comprehensive craniomaxillofacial and mandibular titanium plate trauma repair system (1.3-mm, 1.5-mm, 2.0-mm, and 2.4-mm)

Applications are invited for Eastcott Veterinary Referrals’ residency training programme in Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery. The programme will allow the successful candidate to gain in-depth knowledge in veterinary dentistry and its supporting subjects. The programme will offer the opportunity to prepare a credentials package for eligibility for examination by the European Veterinary Dentistry College

The position is a full time, fixed, 36 month contract and will commence January 2023. The role has a balance of 80 percent clinical and 20 percent out of clinics.

Résidanat en dentisterie vétérinaire et chirurgie buccale
(Dentistry and Oral Surgery Residency)

Le Centre Hospitalier Vétérinaire ADVETIA (
www.advetia.fr) ouvre un poste de résident(e) en dentisterie vétérinaire et chirurgie buccale au sein de l’unité de stomatologie (service de chirurgie) composée du Dr Hennet (dip.AVDC, dip.EVDC) et du Dr Guzu (dip.EVDC).

Le résidanat est un programme de 36 mois minimum permettant d’acquérir les connaissances nécessaires pour la soumission du dossier de candidature (« credentials package ») à l’examen de l’European Veterinary Dental College (EVDC). Le programme est constitué à 80% d’activités cliniques et à 20% d’activités non-cliniques permettant au résident(e) de participer à des formations, d’effectuer des rotations en imagerie médicale, anesthésie et chirurgie et de préparer et rédiger des articles scientifiques.

Ce poste sera attribué à un(e) vétérinaire motivé(e), dynamique, déjà autonome en médecine et chirurgie des animaux de compagnie et très fortement intéressé(e) par la dentisterie vétérinaire.

Pré-requis :

  • Docteur vétérinaire autorisé(e) à exercer en France
  • Intérêt marqué pour la dentisterie et la chirurgie oromaxillofaciale
  • Internat en animaux de compagnie ou expérience équivalente en clientèle privée d’au moins 2 ans
  • Assistanat de chirurgie ou médecine interne ou expérience additionnelle en dentisterie et chirurgie oromaxillofaciale appréciés
  • Français (langue maternelle ou niveau C2) et bon niveau d’anglais écrit et oral (niveau B2
